Also, I made a slight change to part of the story. Instead of Lily suddenly seeing that lying is bad, which I found to be kind of childish, she sees herself as a naturally honest person who has turned dishonest upon finding herself involved with the Shifters. Just thought I'd let you know :)

Newport
I live very close to Newport, but I must confess that I don't go there that often. Every time I've gone, it's only been for a short time, so I've never really gotten the sense of the whole town. And I can't drive, so it's not like I can go there any time.
So today when my mom and I found ourselves with some free time, we decided to take a drive down there. Not just for Shifters, but also to enjoy ourselves. We're really close. Think Gilmore Girls.
But, since my mom obviously knows about Shifters, she offered to show me the different aspects of the town, and it's given me quite a few ideas, concerning both Lily and the town of Newport itself.
Since most of these ideas would have to have been introduced at the beginning of the story, I probably will not be adding them until after the story is complete and I am tweaking things, but let me say this:
Newport is an amazing place. It's small, yet open. Lively, yet quiet. And I have not yet done it justice.

I'm back!!!
The title of this says it all: I'm back!
I'd like to thank all of you for your patience. It's been a busy couple of weeks for me, and writing can't always come first. But now it's right back up there at the top of my priorities list.
I've started to add new chapters again, and I hope to make significant progress over the next few weeks. Enjoy!
